Terms of Service

These terms explain what OHS.training does, what companies remain responsible for, and the basic rules for using the service.

1. What OHS.training does

OHS.training is a document-to-training workspace. A company uploads its own manuals, policies, and onboarding material. The service formats that content into reusable modules and knowledge checks, lets the company assign it to employees, and keeps completion records.

By creating an account, accepting an invitation, buying a subscription, or using OHS.training, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you act for a company, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

2. Company content

The company keeps ownership of the documents and information it uploads. It gives OHS.training permission to store and process that content only as needed to provide and secure the service.

The company must have permission to use what it uploads. It is also responsible for the accuracy of its documents, employee information, assignments, and instructions. Personal information that is not needed for the training purpose should not be uploaded.

3. Generated material

OHS.training formats the company's source documents with help from AI. Generated summaries and questions can contain mistakes or miss context. A company administrator must review the material before relying on it.

OHS.training does not supply a company's safety program, certify a worker, or decide whether a workplace meets legal requirements. A completion record shows that a person completed material in the service. It does not prove legal compliance or worker competency.

4. Accounts and fair use

Users must provide accurate account information, protect their sign-in details, and use only the workspace and material they are allowed to access. Company administrators are responsible for removing access when someone should no longer use the workspace.

You may not:

  • use the service for unlawful or harmful activity;
  • access another company's workspace or another user's account;
  • interfere with security, service limits, or normal operation;
  • upload malicious code or material you do not have permission to use;
  • resell or copy the service without written permission.

5. Subscriptions

The price, billing period, taxes, and any plan limits are shown at checkout or in the customer's order. Paid subscriptions renew for the same period unless cancelled before renewal. Stripe handles payment.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refundable unless the order says otherwise or the law requires it. Past-due accounts may become read-only or be suspended.

6. Privacy and hosting

Our Privacy Policy explains what information the service uses and where it is processed. Core customer documents and training records are hosted in Canada. Some supporting providers may process limited information elsewhere.

7. Service changes and account closure

We may fix, update, or change the service over time. We may suspend an account that is unpaid, creates a security risk, breaks these terms, or could harm other users. Where practical, we will give notice and a chance to fix the issue.

Customers should keep any records they are legally required to retain. When an account ends, information may be deleted or de-identified under the Privacy Policy and any agreed order.

8. Important limits

OHS.training is provided as available. We cannot promise that it will always be error-free or that generated material will suit every workplace. The company remains responsible for reviewing its material and meeting the requirements that apply to its workers and workplace.

To the extent the law allows, OHS.training is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability relating to the service will not exceed the fees the customer paid for it during the previous 12 months. This does not limit rights or liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada. Questions can be sent to support@ohs.training. We may update these terms, and the current version and date will appear here.
